Check out our VGM CON 2026 Schedule Guide

VGM CON is coming up soon! VGM CON is Minnesota’s Video Games and Music Convention, an annual celebration of live video game music, panels, workshops, a speedrun marathon, tournaments, indie games, artists, and more! VGM CON will gather 1000+ attendees and creators in person and online on April 17 – 19, 2026 to share their passion for video games and music.

We’ve put together a helpful schedule guide in the print edition of this month’s newsletter, available here to download. We know lots of our community will be there, and plenty of them performing! We hope this helps you find awesome performances and find each other so that you can all enjoy the con #together!

Water World (from Donkey Kong Country 3)
Dr. B.A. Ferguson delivers a prog rock version of Water World from DKC3. Ferguson provides guitars, keyboards and bass instruments, while TJ Laws-Nicola lends their vocals and Andrew Gossett is our drummer. It is live on BandCamp, and it’s streaming release is on March 19th.

Resident Evil 9 Requiem: Through the Darkness [DRUM COVER + Tab]
Celebrating the release of Resident Evil 9, here we dive into a wonderful piece led by the amazing vocals of Colin Healy and Caroline Mauck (https://www.youtube.com/@ColinAndCaroline). This track serves as the main theme for the base game, adding to the haunting, utterly terrifying aesthetic of the game. I noticed the track was missing drums so….I added mine!
